About the Lauren R. Lenahan Foundation

A woman with long, wavy brown hair smiling at the camera, wearing a black off-the-shoulder top and a small necklace, with a warm indoor background.

The Lauren R Lenahan foundation was created to advance the legacy and memory of a remarkable woman whose life was cut short by a rare type of sarcoma. It was her dream to one day find a cure for this terrible disease and to support those organizations that would make that dream a reality. With your support the Lauren R Lenahan Foundation is committed to advancing causes that bring us closer to fulfilling Lauren's dream.

About Sarcoma

A cartoon sunflower with a green stem and leaves, with arms and legs, stomping next to the words "Stomping on Sarcoma" in bold yellow and black text.

Sarcoma is a rare kind of cancer that starts in the body's connective tissues—like muscles, bones, or fat. It’s uncommon in adults and often hard to detect early because it can grow in places deep inside the body. There are many types of sarcoma, which makes diagnosis and treatment more complex. Its rarity also means it doesn’t get as much attention or research as other cancers.
